Florence Amy was born in Angora, Turkey in 1883; she was the daughter of Henry Orsman Binns and Charlotte Elizabeth (Hyman) Binns.
She was 36 years old when she married 65-year-old widower James Thomas Erith Lindsay in Middelburg, Transvaal, on 8 February 1919.[1]
