Biography

Complin Alfred was born in 1881 in the Cape Colony; he is the son of Complin Seach Birch and Sarah Louisa Nash.

He was 25 years old and farming in the Lusthoff District of Fauresmith when he married the 21-year-old Sarah Ann Jane Murray in her home town Philippolis on 12 November 1906. ^[1]

Complin was 79 years old and living on his farm Twin Rivers in the Bambusi District of Rhodesia when he passed away as a result of a coronary thrombosis on 17 July 1960. He was to be cremated in Bulawayo.^[2][3]
