Biography

Elizabeth (Birchard) Bliss immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).
HEIS vnder-written names are to be transported to New-England imbarqued in the Truelove Jo: GIBBS Mr. the Men have taken the oaths of Alleg: & Suprem. xix Sept: 1635.

Child of Thomas & Mary (Robinson) Birchard christened at Terling, Essex, England.[2] Elizabeth Byrchard bapt. 1 Nov 1621[2][3]; age 13 in 1635[1]. Suggestions have been made in secondary sources listing the marriages of Elizabeth & Susanna Birchard, but no evidence supports these suggestions.[4]

Please note. There was only one Elizabeth, d/o Thomas Birchard. She was bpt. 1621, sailed on the Truelove, and has no further records. Thomas Bliss married Elizabeth ______. There's a lot of Elizabeth's in the area, why is this the one? This needs to be worked on. It should probably be two profiles Elizabeth Unknown wife of T. Bliss and Elizabeth Birchard, d/o T. Birchard.
