Biography

Charles Bird is a part of US Black heritage.

Charles was born in Missouri. He was the son of Greenup Bird and Mary Clouse.

In the 1870 census Charley (age 13) was in Liberty Township, Clay, Missouri, United States, living with his parents and siblings.[1]

In the 1880 census Charles (age 23) was the married head of household in Gallatin, Clay, Missouri, United States.[2]

In the 1900 census Charles (age 44) was the widowed head of household in Gallatin Township, Clay, Missouri, United States. His wife, Nannie Waller, died in 1899.[3]

Charles married Georgia Anna Lincoln in 1912.

Charles passed away in 1927. Burial was in the Fountain Waller Cemetery, Gladstone, Clay County, Missouri.[4]
