He married Mary Ann Johnson on 7 February 1856, in Hillsboro, Washington, Oregon, United States. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 5 daughters. He lived in Clark, Washington Territory, United States in 1870 and Clark, Washington, United States in 1880.
