Biography

Ann was born about 1739/40. Possible surname Burd or Bird.

Ann married Joseph Salisbury in 1761 in Rolleston, Staffordshire, England. The marriage was after Banns and they were both of the Parish of Rolleston[1] [2]

Husband Joseph was a Farmer and they had seven children all born in Church Broughton, Derbyshire.

She passed away in 1810 aged 71 and was buried on 10 February 1810 in Church Broughton. [3] [4]

Research Notes It's uncertain where Ann was born. She may have been born in Rolleston, Staffordshire but have not found a record. It may be Shirley, Derbyshire which could fit. Anne daughter of Thomas and Jane Bird, baptised on 9 September 1739 in Shirley, Derbyshire.[5] the other other possiblity is Breedon on the Hill, Leicestershire. Ann, daughter of Henry & Hannah, was born in 1740 and baptised on 4 May 1740 in Breedon on the Hill, Leicestershire. The place was actually Worthington close by according to the original record. [6]
