Biography

John Owens Bird was born in August 1823 at Chaplin in Nelson Co., Kentucky to Francis Bird and Rhoda Schamerhorn[2] In 1840 he married Permelia Hardin[3], moved to Washington County, Kentucky[4]and fathered several children.[5][6][7][8][9] He was a lifelong resident of Washington Co., Kentucky. [10][11][12][13][14] [15][16][17][18]He died in 1912. [19]

Many of John Owens Bird's family are buried in Brush Grove Cemetery in Willisburg, Kentucky.
