Biography

John Owens Bird was born in August 1823 at Chaplin in Nelson Co., Kentucky to Francis Bird and Rhoda Schamerhorn^[2] In 1840 he married Permelia Hardin^[3], moved to Washington County, Kentucky^[4]and fathered several children.^{[5][6][7][8][9]} He was a lifelong resident of Washington Co., Kentucky. ^{[10][11][12][13][14] [15][16][17][18]}He died in 1912. ^[19]
