Biography

Joannah Birdseye was born 17 October 1708 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut Colony to parents Abel Birdseye and Comfort Welles^[1]

When Joannah Birdseye was born, her father, Abel, was 29, and her mother, Comfort, was 27.

She married Ephraim Watkins on November 21, 1727, in her hometown. They had two children during their marriage.

She died on February 17, 1758, in Orange, New York, at the age of 49, and was buried in the Saint Davids Cemetery in Orange County, New York.
