Biography

David Birge was born on 11 Dec 1753, Litchfield, Litchfield, Colony of Connecticut. He was the son of Elijah Birge and Lydia Dibble. His father died when David was three and his mother, Lydia, married Billious Hill.

David married Abigail Howland on 30 Dec 1778 - their children were Nancy, Lydia, Elijah, James, Rebecca, Ansel, David II, Abigail, Warren and Cyrus Birge.

David was buried at North Underhil Cemetery, North Underhill, Vermont. His memorial has a photo and links to those of family members.[1]
