According to the 1851 England census, Ann was born in 1778 in Scotton, Lincolnshire.[1] She passed away after 1851. An Ann Good from Glanford Brigg passed away in Q4 of 1857.[2]
An Ann Birkitt was baptised at Kelstern, 13 miles from South Kelsey, in October 1779. The time and relative location make this a probable fit. Her parents were John and Ann Birkitt.[3]
Her husband, George Good, was a shoemaker and the family lived in Broughton, Lincolnshire, at the times of the 1841 and 1851 censuses.
In 1841, Anne and George lived in Broughton with son John, 35, John's wife Catherine, 35, Mary, 8, John, 7, George, 5, Sarah, 4 and William, 1.[4]
Ten years later, George and Anne lived with grandson Martin, 8, still in Broughton.
