John Birks was born in Yorkshire, England.
John was born in 1826. His parents were Joseph Birks and Ann Burley. He was christened on 31 December 1826 at Wath upon Dearne Parish Church. [1][2]
John married Harriet Smith on 15 Feb 1847 in Rotherham, Yorkshire, England.[3]
John married Charlotte Spinks, daughter of Thomas Wadsworth, on 5 November 1877 at Rotherham Minster, Rotherham, Yorkshire. Witnesses were Thomas Winder and Mary Winder.[4]
He passed away in 1893, age 67.[5] He was buried on 19 December 1893 at Brampton Bierlow Church Yard, Yorkshire.[6]
