Served under different commands in the Coast Guards and at Stillwater [another name for the Battle of Saratoga, in which General Gates and General Arnold forced General Howe to surrender] his musket was shattered by a ball from the enemy. He received a pension, 1832, for two years actual service in the Connecticut Line. [1]
Died in New Haven County, CT, USA. Buried in Hammonasset Cemetery Madison, New Haven County, Connecticut, USA. [8]
