Biography

Jesse J Bishop wed Margarett E Niles February 11, 1897 in Marshall County, Alabama.^[1]

Jessie J Bishop was enumerated as head of the household in Precinct 20 Red Apple Boaz town, Marshall County, Alabama for the June 13, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as a farmer and born February 1853 in Georgia. He had been married for three years and was an owner. Also included in the household are wife Margrett Bishop, daughter Allie M Bishop, son Jessie M Bishop, daughter Marry L Bishop, daughter Arra J Bishop, stepson Grover Wiles and stepdaughter Maud C Wiles as seen in an image of the original census.^[2]
