Funeral services for E. C. Bishop 50, of 3706 Gammill St. who died Thursday will be held from the Baldwin Funeral Home Chapel Saturday at 10 a.m. with Rev. W. M. Averett officiating, Rev. G. A. McCoy will assist with interment in Calvary Cemetery in Smith County. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Calvary Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Bishop was killed when the tornado hit Jackson and surrounding areas Thursday.

He was a native of Mize, Miss, and had been in Jackson for the past 12 years. He was a member of Elraine Baptist Church and he was a machine operator for Continental Can.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Lucille W. Bishop of Jackson; his parents Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Bishop of Mize; four brothers Robert D. Bishop and R. F. Bishop both of Mize; J. C. Bishop of New Orleans; C. W. Bishop of Jackson; two sisters Mrs. Wessie Ingram and Mrs. Lessie Adcock both of Mize.

Active pallbearers will be R. D. Bishop, J. C. Bishop. C. W. Bishop, R. T. Bishop, Wallace Parkman and Roger Doyon.
