Caroline (Bishop) Burden is a part of US Black heritage.

Wade Hampton Borin's marriage certificate in which he lists his parents as John and Caroline Borin.

On May 14, 1855, Caroline Boren made oath that on April 15th last, Berry, the property of William Hunter, did come to where her son Hamp was fishing and did raise a fuss with him. The jury found the boy not guilty.
