Genealogical Research Interests

I started doing family history research around 2013, while still in Secondary School. Since then, I've become increasingly committed to the research I've been doing. Not long after starting, William Arbuthnot introduced me to WikiTree and the website has been my primary research and documenting tool ever since.

Research-wise, the names I'm most interested in are:

On my father's side On my mother's side

Dwight Family

I am the coordinator of the Dwight Name Study. Feel free to contact me if you have any information surrounding the Dwight Family (especially if there is a link to John Dwight) or if you would like to know more.

Thanks for all the work you're doing on PGM profiles. Just a reminder that wikitree's policy about LNAB is to seek an original family record as close to the birth as possible for spelling. We don't necessarily rely on published genealogies for last name *at birth*. Thanks.

Thank you for being part of the Wiltshire Team and for all contributions that you have made.

We say hello to two new members, John Orchard & June Clifford, who together with existing members Aidan Bizony, Debbs Anderson, Hilary Gadsby & myself make up the Wiltshire Team.

I've refreshed our Team page at Please take a look at the Topics section in particular and let me know which topics you may be able to assist with over the next few months. For example, I'll be working on Profiles on the Wiltshire Suggestion List, in particular 612 ‘Location too early in birth location’ suggestions.

You may wish to help in other ways. Let me know if you have any other ideas.

Thanks again,

Hi Aidan,

Thanks for choosing the Ireland Project.

The Ireland Project (previously the Irish Roots Project) has now changed its structure into Teams. We require everyone with the Ireland Badge to be a member of at least one Team or Sub-Team and our google group. See for details. The Teams are :-

1. Categories Team
2. Counties Team
3. Managed Profiles Team
4. Membership Team
5. Profile Improvement Team
6. Topics Team
7. Diaspora

Can you let me know which team(s) you’d like to join.

Many thanks,

Hi Aidan,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Hi Aidan

On behalf of the England Project Leaders we're carrying out a check-in to see how all the members are doing and taking the opportunity to thank you for all your hard work over the past six months. We have been so impressed with the way everyone has rallied together and gone the extra mile to make this one of the most dedicated, productive and friendly communities on WikiTree. What are you enjoying most about being in the project? What would you like to see improved or changed? Would you like to continue in the project moving forwards?

We're looking forward to hearing back from you,

Susie, Gillian, Wendy and Amy
