George Henry Bizzell was born on the 12th July 1881, in Cooktown, Queensland, Australia, the son of John Lambourne Bizzell and Alice Mary Tarzwell.[1]
He was the first Bizzell to be born on Australian soil.
George H. Bizzell was an acclomplished musician, in fact he was an Australian Brass Champion and he was one of the founding members of the Brisbane Excelsior Brass Band along with 20 other young enthusiasts. G. Bizzell was on the Excelsior Committee in 1914 when the band was just two years old.

He worked as a clerk for the Queensland Railways at Ipswich for 32 years.
George Henry married Grace Olive Harbottle on the 14th November 1901, in Brisbane, Queensland.[2]
George Bizzell passed away on the 2nd December 1964, in Queensland, Australia, five months three weeks after his 82nd birthday.[3]
