DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with John by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with John:
This John Henry Black, birth date 1852 November 04, does not appear to belong to this family. If the 1852 birth date is correct then that is too close to sibling Elizabeth Blacks birth date 1853 January 15. John Henry's parents are Samuel Black (1829-1917) and Elizabeth Black (1833-1895). This does not match the current parents Samuel (1809- ) and Charlotte (1828- ). See John Henry's Find a Grave memorial.
Thanks for checking.
