Hey AD,

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the G2G forum and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House, you might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Welcome! Mags

Some of the surnames in my ancestry include Black (obviously), Baker, Hyatt, Earley, and Cleveland. I'll be happy to share what I have and would appreciate any assistance you may have.

Hi Arthur!

I don't blame you. If I had 1500+ names I wouldn't want to enter them manually either! Here's a link to our GEDCOM FAQ. It explains our process here at WikiTree and should answer any questions you might have. If not, let me know and I'll see if I can answer them!

Hello Arthur!

I just wanted to take a second to welcome you to the WikiTree family and thank you for volunteering! There are many great people and resources available here to help you. If I can help in any way, I will certainly do my best! Please don't hesitate to ask :)

Hello to all! I have been working with my family's history for several years now, but I have other commitments that limit the time I have to spend. I have several lines that are "dead-ended" and would like to focus on these families: Black (Scotland to Canada), Forrester (also Scotland to Canada), Earley (NY), Hyatt (NY), Daniels (NY), Burt (GA), and Owen (GA, AL). I find this stuff fascinating and look forward to working with you all.
