Biography

Alexander "Alex" Blackburn was born on March 21, 1880, in Canada, Kentucky, to Marinda Sylvana May and John Henderson Blackburn.[1][2]

On April 19, 1902, in Mingo County, West Virginia, Alex married Beulah Virginia Cochran.[3] They had at least 3 children.[4]

Alex supported his family as a coal miner, living in Kentucky[4] and West Virginia.[5]
