The daughter of James Blackburn (1793-1854) and Eleanor Kourts (1809-1876), Mary Ann Blackburn was born in Center Township, Ohio[citation needed] in 1837, residing with her family in 1850 in Starr Township, Ohio.[1] Her siblings included:

Mary married William Charles Cammpbell, his second wife, receiving their marriage license in Athens County, Ohio on May 1, 1861,[2] with the rites of matrimony being performed there on May 8, 1861. Their children included:

Alexander Anderson Campbell (1864-1898)
Silas Clark Campbell (1866-1895)
William Snyder Campbell (1868-1891)
Sherman Campbell (1870-1872)
Arilla Mae Campbell (1872-1960)

Walter George Campbell (1881-1964)
They made their home in Ohio Township, Ohio,[3] residing together by 1880 in Starr Township, Ohio.[4] In 1900, they lived in Union Township, Ohio, in Van Wert County.[5] Widowed in 1901, in 1910, Mary lived alone in Union Townshi[,[6]
Mary Campbell passed away in Logan, Ohio[7] at the age of 94 and is buried at Asbury Methodist Church cemetery in Starr Township, Ohio.[8]
