Thomas Blackburn was the son of John and Mary (Courtney) Blackburn. He married Alice Hewitt, daughter of Benjamin Hewitt, on 4th month (June) 17 1742 [2]. Coming to America after his father, Thomas presented a certificate from Ballyhagen Monthly Meeting in Ireland to Warrington Monthly Meeting in York County, Pennsylvania. His will was dated Jan. 6, 1784 and probated Nov. 1, 1794 [3].
Thomas Blackburn was born about 1702. Thomas passed away in 1794.
