Biography

Phoebe was born in Mendham to Mark & Mary Blackmur. Her baptism record there is not at the time of writing known to be available to view online. The original record survives and the details have been transcribed and indexed by the Suffolk Family History Society. The family name was entered into the register as "Blackbourn".

On 22nd April 1783 she was received into the church at Needham as an adult along with her brother Mark.
