Thomas was born in 1854. He was the son of Clyburn Blackwell and Unity Kirkley. In 1860 census, six years old and lives in Cherokee County, Alabama . [1]. Married Sallie Herron in 1892. in Cherokee County, Alabama. [2] 1910 census. [3]He dies in 1915 and burial in Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.[4]
