James Thomas Blackwell[1] was born on January 13, 1877[2], in Wythe, Virginia, the child of Robert Blackwell and Margaret Crouse[3]. He married Beulah H Lewellyn[4] in 1899[5]. He died on June 4, 1943[3], in Richmond City, Virginia, and was buried in Petersburg, Petersburg City, Virginia[6].
