Biography
Daughter of Joel Blackwell and Sarah Graham. The Blackwell family were among the first white settlers in Coryell County, Texas, and Blackwell Mountains near Fort Hood are named after them.
Married Thomas Mitchell in 1869. Had 8 children.
Devout member of her local Baptist church.
Died in 1930 after a long illness.
