Biography

Thomas Blain was born around December 1820 in Norley, Cheshire, England to James Blain and his wife Mary. He was baptised on 31 Dec 1820.^[1] Thomas was an agricultural laborer throughout his life. On 25 Sep 1865 he married Hannah Lightfoot (nee Wright), a widow, in Witton-cum-Twambrooks, Cheshire, England.^[2]
