John L. Blair was born on November 7, 1813 in Washington, Maryland, United States, son of Andrew Jackson Blair (1783–1849) and Catherine Onwiler (1790–1855).[1]
John L. Blair, 1814-1887, was born in Maryland, the son of Andrew Jackson Blair (1783-1849) and Catherine Onwiler (1790-1855), who married in 1803 and had thirteen children, born between 1812 and 1830. John married Sarah Rickert (1812-1898) on 12 December 1836. They had three children, Susan, Martin L., and Sarah Jane. [2] John and Sarah married in Washington County, Maryland. [3]
