David Blair is a descendant of Mayflower Passenger Resolved White Sr

I lived most of my life in California, 38 years in SoCal and 26 in NoCal. I retired in 2014 and moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico. I have been working on my family tree in fits and spurts since 1976. My dad's cousin was LDS and gave me a lot of information on the Blair line, most of which cannot be verified outside of LDS church records. In the past 2 years I have become much more careful of sources.

Hi David,

Thanks for having a big heart and adopting the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention those profiles need.

How's everything going?

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

David,

I saw some of your entries for Hacklers & Catrons etc... from the Grayson area. If you add the category like this

Category: Grayson County, Virginia with double [ before and double ] after

then those folks will be added to that alphabetical list--makes searching/sorting out a little easier sometimes!

Hi David

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Also noticed you made 115 contributions to Wikitree, thank you! Here at WikiTree we like to have our members involved with others; collaboration is key!

Is there a particular time period, location, your interested in? I see you have a Mayflower tag, you may want to join the Mayflower project at: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Mayflower

Why don't you stop by the One Name Studies project, to see if there's any name study for (surname) going on? The current leaders for that are Doug Lockwood and Alison Andrus. They would be happy to get you started.

Again, thanks for volunteering to work on Pre-1700 profiles!
