Biography

Janet BLAIR was born about 21 November 1802 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland and died on 22 February 1868 in Lexton, Victoria, Australia.[1] She was buried in Lexton Cemetery, Lexton, Victoria, Australia.[1], [2] She is believed to have been the daughter of Andrew BLAIR and Janet DRYSDALE.

Janet BLAIR was married about 10 January 1836 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland to David ANDERSON.

David ANDERSON was born on 6 July 1807 in Fife, Scotland.[3] and was christened in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland on 12 July 1807.[3] He died on 12 September 1849 in Lexton, Victoria, Australia. He was buried in Lexton Cemetery, Lexton, Victoria, Australia.[2] He was the son of David ANDERSON and Ann SHORTHOUSE.[3]

The Emigrated on the Robert Benn to Melbourne, Australia on 20 September 1841 with their sons, Andrew and David. They Arrived in Settlement of Port Phillip on 26 January 1842.

At the time of his death, David ANDERSON's wife, Janet (BLAIR) ANDERSON took over the license of the Pyrenees Hotel and presumably all of the associated property.
