Born in either Ireland or New York in about 1841, Annie married Patrick Mone. At age 21, her first child, Edward Francis, was born; at age 22, Thomas Patrick, the second child was born; at age 25, Mary E., probably Mary Ethel, the third child was born; at age 27 her fourth child, Catherine V., was born; at age 29, John J., her fifth child, was born; at age 32, Agnes G, her sixth child was born. At age 33, while Agnes was still a baby, her husband Patrick died, leaving Annie with six young children. It is unclear where she stayed with these children or how she supported them.
She next appears on the census married to Adam Jacobs. At age 39, her seventh child, also named Annie, is born; at age 42 her last daughter [Margaret] is born; this child did not survive infancy. Annie died in 1891at approximately age 50, when her youngest, Annie, was still a child.
