Biographie
Jean-Baptiste Blais est né le 6 mars 1838 à L'Anse-au-Basque, Bas-Canada, fils de Jean Baptiste Blais et de Basilisse Vicaire . Il a été baptisé le 4 août 1838 à Percé, paroisse Saint-Michel, ayant pour parrain John Folan et pour marraine Françoise Vicare.[1]
Jean-Baptiste (33) a épousé en premières noces Marie Leblanc (29) le 9 janvier 1872 à Pabos, paroisse Sainte-Adélaïde. [2] Leurs enfants connus sont:

Louise Blais (1874–1875)
Jean Fidèle Blais (1876–1876)
Pierre Zénon Blais (1877–1877)
Jean-Baptiste (50) a épousé en secondes noces Sara Derosebie (38) le 8 janvier 1889 à Pabos, paroisse Sainte-Adélaïde.[3] Leurs enfants connus sont:

Jean-Baptiste est décédé le 24 mars 1916 et a été inhumé trois jours plus tard à Pabos.[4]
