Biography

Michel François Blais was born about 1808 in Saint-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Bas-Canada, son of Michel Blais and Marie Louise Élizabeth Fournier.

Michel (21) married Marcelline Dagneau (19) on August 23, 1836 in Saint-Charles de Bellechasse, Bas-Canada. [1]Their known children were:

  1. Marie Cédulie, b 5 July 1837 in Ste-Claire, married Cyrille Gagnon on 22 feb 1859 in Ste-Claire (Dorchester)
  2. François Vinyas b 16 sept 1838 in Ste-Claire (Ninyas Ignace), Blais-2357 married Marie Rosalie Anne Leclerc on 14 apr 1863 in Ste-Claire
  3. Félix Adolphe, b 18 nov 1839 in Ste-Claire
