"Kanawha Co Marriages" by Julia Wintz lists the marriage:

James Blake and Patsey Haslet, Apr 23, 1805

No evidence that Patsey is daughter of James Hazlett except that marriage date is same general time period and location as other Hazlett "siblings". The name "Andrew" may also indicate a family connection.

James Blakes listed in 1810 Kanawha Co census age 26-45, with 3 boys under 10; 1 girl 10-16; another woman 16-26. Other Blakes in Kanawha Co in 1810 are Beverley, George, and John as heads of households.

Julia Wintz in published Kanawha Co, WV Marriages p. 7 lists date as April 23. She may have access to paper documents prior to microfilming.

"Jane" may have come from listing of "Jane" as wife in James's estate--possibly a second wife.^[1][2]
