DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Seaborn by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Seaborn:

His sister? https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Blake-8147

"I am searching for any information on my gggrandfather. I know my grand father wasDaniel Bell Forbus b: March 1873 Alabama, his father was Daniel Edward Forbus b: 1823 South Carolina, d: ABT 1880 in Coosa Co., AL. He was married twice, 1st wife Nancy ??,2nd wife to Vilena Rozzie Lee Blake born in Georgia, died in Coosa Co., AL. I can't seem to find out any more infrmation on Daniel Edward's father and family. There are lots of Forbus's butcan't seem to conect with any. So any help finding Daniel Edwards family would be a great help.

Thank you Peggy

Hello Peggy,

I realize this is an old post but I hope you are still connected.I am a Blake descendant and I think your Vilena Blake Forbus (second wife of Edward Forbus)is the sister to my great grandfather, Seaborn Thornton Blake.Seaborn Thornton Blake is living with his parents in the 1880 Coosa County census. It is the family of John and Marinda Blake along with his siblings, Bilena (which we think is actually Vilena), Durelle, Hansel and Mary.

Edward and Vilena named one of their sons Cebron which is another spelling of Seaborn.

We are looking for more information on this family and would be happy to share what we have.
