Research Notes
From an earlier submission to Wiki the following information was written as speculation, however from the work published in "The New England Historical and Genealogical Register. Boston, MA: New England Historic Genealogical Society, 1847-." Vol 163 on the Humphrey Blake and his Descendents there is definite proof that Alice Richards married Phillip Torrey and four of their sons moved to America. More details on this will be published under Alice and Phillip rather than here.[6]
Jame Richards' will proved: 1607/8, Pitminster, Taunton Deane Borough, Somerset, England and all of his children were baptized there ,Thomas (1571), William (1573 ), Joan (1575/6 ), Agnes (1576), John (1578), Alice (1581). Alice married Philip Torrey, 27 Nov. 1604. This Alice & Philip Torrey may be the family at Combe St. Nicholas (Home of Edward Rossiter) who sent four of their children to New England. Also, Thomas Lombard, of the Mary & John was overseer of the estate of Philip Torrey of Combe St. Nicholas in 1621. This James Richards is no doubt related to Thomas Richards of Pitminster, who went to Dorchester, Mass. & Thomas Lombard, who supposedly had a wife named Richards, from Pitminster. If the above is true then four Torrey children of Philip Torrey & Alice Blake, William of Weymouth, Mass., James Torrey of Scituate, Mass., Philip of Roxbury and Joseph of Weymouth, Mass. trace their lineage back to the same Blake line as does Elizabeth Saunders, wife of Henry Wolcott. Thomas Richards (1596-1650) the emigrant of Pitminster, Somerset & Dorchester, Mass. who came in 1635, on the "Hopewell" also traces back to the Blake family of Somerset.[7]

Blake-3538 and Blake-259 appear to represent the same person because: Appears same person, perhaps incorrectly attached to Thomas RICHARDS a ten year old child if dates are correct.
Richards-1427 and Blake-259 appear to represent the same person because: These 2 women are shown married to the same person, and having the same child (Thomas). However, "Mrs. Richards" is shown as having been born 1 yr after the birth of her child. They should be merged into Blake-259.
