Biography

George Blake, born 30 Oct 1758 in Middletown, Connecticut, was the fourth child of Rachel (Alvord) Blake (1733-abt.1768) and Stephen Blake (1730-1767) [1].

Revolutionary War service: George Blake, b. 03 Oct 1758 in Middletown, Connecticut, died 17 Dec 1851 in Springfield, Massachusetts, married Huldah Leonard, b. 1760, married on 01 Aug 1872. George is honored for serving as a drummer in the American Revolution: 1) CAPT.CHAPIN COL.DANIELSON [2]

He married on 01 Aug 1782, Huldah Leonard [1756 - 1831] in West Springfield, Massachusetts [3].

George Blake died in Springfield, Massachusetts, 17 Dec 1851. His grave is represented to be in Springfield Cemetery, Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts, USA [4]. No grave marker is depicted.
