Electa was born about 1823, the daughter of Joseph Blake. Electa Blake was baptized in Washington, Connecticut on September 4, 1825.[1] She had sisters: Harriet, Sally Maria, Mary-Esther and Lucy, and brothers: David Major, and William. [These were baptized together in Washington on September 1, 1815.] There were also sisters Susan (baptized August 1, 1819), Abigail (baptized October 14, 1821) and Adaline (baptized July 10, 1837). She died after January 29, 1890, when she was reported as still very ill.[2]
