Biography

Thomas Blake was a convict after the Third Fleet transported to New South Wales
Cross of St George
Thomas Blake was born in England.

Thomas Blake was convicted on 27 February 1834 in County Meath, Ireland for stealing bank notes. He was transported to the New South Wales Penal Colony on board the Royal Admiral, arriving on 22 Jan 1835, for the term of 7 years. His convict indent states that he could neither read not write; he was a Roman Catholic, single, and his occupation was listed as a farmer's servant.

According to Thomas's Certificate of Freedom, Thomas was officially freed on 23 December 1841.

Thomas was apparently married to Ann Walsh however no record for said marriage has been found.

He passed away in 1877 at the age of 67 at Molong, New South Wales.
