Biography

Bridget was born about 1826. Bridget, housekeeper, passed away (Paralysis) aged 65 on 28 April 1891, death informed by Walter Quealy, husband, present at death. My mother’s notes include an extract from microfiche search some time ago that records Bridget born Lislanahan. Found a Lisluinaghan, County Clare which is likely to be her birth place. Info [1]

Irish Civil Records record death of 3 x Bridget Quealy in 1907 (no others recorded around 1910; 1) died 13 March 1907 aged 72, Widow of Pat Quealy 2) died November 1907 aged 60, widow of Martin Quealy (Farmer), died of Cerebral Haemorrhage & Hemiplegia, Son John present at death 3) died 9 September 1907, married aged 63 (born about 1847), Servant, Bronchitis 6 months, no medical attendant, Son Michael present at Death in Ennistymon. No indication that it could be any of these 3 however an earlier death occurred of Bridget Quealy on 28 April 1891, married 65 years, Housekeeper, died of Paralysis, No medical Attendant, Husband Walter Quealy present at death at Kildimo, Kilkee, Kilrush, Clare.
