Henry Blake was born on November 22, 1755 in Kensington, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. His parents were Daniel and Abigail (Prescott) Blake.

Major Blake was a Revolutionary Soldier.

He married Molly Colby on December 18, 1777.

Together they had these children:
