Biography
Christopher Columbus Blake was a private in Berdan's reg., sharpshooters, wounded in head at Antietam, Sept. 17, 1862, lived at Ottumwa, Decauter, and Evanston, res., 1882-6, Richland, Shawnee co., Kan., lawyer. Proprietor of The Future, a newspaper devoted to predictions of the coming weather through Astronomical Mathematics.
