Rosa Lee Blakely was born in March of 1895 probably in Elbert County, Colorado. She was the daughter of Robert Lee Blakely and Belle Harrington.[1]
Although records have not been discovered, it is presumed that she married George William Kabrick sometime in 1922. George and Rosa had one son, Jack Lee Kabrick, who was born on 3 November 1923. The couple divorced sometime before 1928.[2]
In 1928, Rosa married Irving Sterling Graham, a widower with 7 children from his first marriage.[3] The couple remained married until Irving's death in 1938. Rosa was still raising her young son Jack Kabrick, and Irving's youngest daughter, Juanita, continued living in Rosa's household.[4]
Jack Kabrick, Rosa's son from her first marriage, graduated from high school in 1941. He was drafted into the Army and, tragically, was killed in action in the European Theater of Operations.[5]
Rosa has certainly died, but no record of her death has yet been discovered.
