Elizabeth Blakeney was born in 1797.[1] She was the daughter of Revolutionary War veteran John Blakeney and his second wife Nancy May of Chesterfield, South Carolina.
Elizabeth Blakeney was married to Mathias Beaver in 1813 at Spring Hill Church in Lancaster, South Carolina.[2] Mathias Beaver enlisted as a soldier in the War of 1812 shortly after their marriage in October of 1814.[3] The couple were parents of fifteen known children, including two Nancys aged 11 years apart.[4][5]
Elizabeth Blakeney Beaver died in 1898.[6] She is buried at the Beaver Family Cemetery in Pageland, South Carolina.
