Biography

Birth

Moses was born in 1729. He was the son of Moses Blakeslee and Sarah Benton.

Marriage

On 24 September 1753 Moses married Hannah Dunbar, the daughter of John Dunbar and Elizabeth Fenn. Moses and Hannah had 9 children: Asa, Caleb, Sarah, Moses, Hannah, Lucetta, Ann, Lyman, and Mary Dotha. Hannah died in 1774

2nd Marriage

:On the 23 February 1775 Moses married Mary (Cook) Smith, the daughter of Ephraim Cook and Lydia Merriman. Mary was the widow of John Smith.[1]

Death

He passed away in 1807.I
