The Birth Date is a rough estimate. See the text for details.
Sarah Blakesley may have been born around 1791 (the date is a very rough guess based on her marriage date and the family she was previously linked to incorrectly).
Sarah married Thomas Sims on 19 Jun 1827 at St Leonard's Church in Shoreditch, London.
Their probable daughter Mary Ann was born on 17 Apr 1828 and christened on 18 May 1828 at St Leonard's church in Shoreditch.[1]
Research Notes
Sarah may be the same Sarah born to parents James and Elisabeth in September 1792, and christened at St Leonard's on November 6 with the surname Blakeley, rather than Blakesley.[2]
No other baptisms of children found on FamilySearch.
Thomas and Sarah not found together in 1841 in Middlesex, searching on FamilySearch.
Neither found with Mary Ann in 1841 in Middlesex, searching on FamilySearch.
Mary Ann may have been unmarried and working as a lodging house keeper in 1851.[3] There were no other Sims in the household.
Thomas may have died in 1833 in Shoreditch aged 26 - if so, he was born in about 1807.[4]
Didn't marry Charles Liddiard 23 Nov 1834 Middlesex, as Sarah Elizabeth Sims (that Sarah a spinster).[5]

Hi Phil. When it's convenient, could you please look through the notes and sources I've added to the profiles of Sarah and her husband Thomas? I've added a few sources I think will probably not be controversial (burial for Thomas, census records for Sarah) but also I'm suggesting a different marriage for Thomas and Sarah, and a different maiden name for Sarah based on some new sources. If you're not satisfied they're right, if you could add a few notes to the profile explaining your thinking that would be great. Regards, Corinne (I'm not a relative, just trying to help out).
