Jerome was born on 12 April 1793 in Iberville, Louisiana, and was baptized on 27 May 1793 in St. Gabriel, Iberville, Louisiana. [1] He was the son of Jerome Blanchard and Marine Clouâtre.
He married Marie Marceline Orillon on 18 February 1811 in St. Gabriel, Iberville. [2][3][4]
(Translation) On 18 February 1811 were married Jérome Blanchard, son of deceased Jérome Blanchard and Marine Cloitre, and Marcellite Orillion, daughter of Joseph Orillion and Clotilde Marionneaux, both from this parish. Were present Joseph Orillion father of the bride, Godfrey Roth, Charles (?) and Pierre Lacroix.
