Note

I am following the suggestions of Hubert Stone, in setting the family relationships for Richard. These are detailed on Dorothy Blanchard's page. I am, however, unable to verify many of the primary documents. Foley-1031 18:32, 18 September 2016 (EDT)

Briefly , it is possible that Dorothy's "parents were Richard Blanchard buried Oct 30 1757 in Wimborne Minster and Dorothy Scrivener born August 1, 1705 in Poole, and buried Dec 18, 1757 in Wimborne Minster. Richard and Dorothy were married Jan 9, 1727 and had the following children:

1. Wiliam 1728- 2. Elizabeth 1730- 3. Charles 1732- 4. Mary 1736- 5. Richard 1739- 6. Dorothy 1744- 7. Thomas 1746-1747

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Richard by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Richard:

In some records I found, it suggeted that he married twice. Once to Dorothy and another to Mary Bayley. Given he died at age 46, what say you?

It depends on what records, and what proof, exactly, they offer.
