It's no problem Steven, I think the familysearch genealogy is a good example of what happened...in almost all of the online genealogies still using or based on the (wrong/corrupted) info and dates from the fraudulent lineage, there were two extra layers of in fact exactly the same or very similar deeper ancestors added to the (later and only correct) Guillaume Blanchard who married Huguette Gougeon, Huguette Gougeon's (the later and only correct Huguette) mother first was married to a man named Jean Poirier (that's where the (none excisting) great grandmother Huguette Poirier comes from, Huguette also might have been known as Poirier, because she had half siblings with this for last name)
So according a lot of the older online genealogies that still have the mistaken deeper ancestors:
The parents of Jean Guillaume Blanchard were:
Eloi Blanchard (who in some online genealogies (again) is named Jean or Jean Guillaume Blanchard) 15151575 and Huguette Poirier 1520Deceased?? and they had children:
Jean Guillaume Blanchard 15401610 and he (also) married a Hueguet Gougeon 15201641 Child of this in fact just the same as the later and only correct Hueguet Gougeon and Jean Guillaume Blanchard was
Guillaume Blanchard 15401590 (date of birth of course impossible if father was also was born in 1540)
During a certain time period I ended up somehow adopting several random profiles. I'm not sure how. But based on this Blanchard being totally in France and much earlier, I'm not sure it ties into the Acadian confusion. I will make an attempt to sort some of this out but may just have to orphan it amidst the confusion.
Blanchard-3929 and Blanchard-92 appear to represent the same person because:
Hi Steven,
This profile, looking at the source added here, very likely also is part of the mixed up lineage that has a lot of supposed deeper ancestors, with all exactly the same or very similar names as their later descendants, but with much earlier (corrupt/wrong) dates. See the note about the false parentage and other info at the profile Blanchard-92 ..a lot of the supposed deeper ancestors didn't exist and their profiles are now merged away or still present, but with the template they didn't exist added to them..see also this G2G
Hope it helps and many thanks in advance for the help it's appreciated !

So all these deeper ancestors didn't really excist and the only correct ones where Guillaume Blanchard and this Huguette Gougeon...
Hope it explains it a bit more and greets from the Netherlands,
