DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
Blanchard-568 and Blanchard-440 appear to represent the same person because: This Mary Blanchard was originally linked to the wrong Joseph Shaw-1890 son of John and Hannah Whitmarsh and mother of Joseph Shaw-1585 (who is actually son of Joseph-1425 and his first wife Sarah. I un-linked her from the wrong husband and child, so she is now floating out there unconnected to anyone.
Blanchard-1027 and Blanchard-440 appear to represent the same person because: Same father;same spouse. These are dupes all up the Blanchard line; this is the "youngest" (most recent). The set of higher-numbered profiles are all empty of dates and text and sources. As a result, the system made them green-privacy/public so they cannot be edited. Steven Tibbetts, if you're around, please approve these merges. Thank you.
